Factory PDF to a US listing: the kit workflow
Most international listings start as a PDF from the factory: a table of attributes, a SKU, and a paragraph in factory English. That file is a source. It is not a listing. This is how you turn one PDF into one US ASIN with the Transformation Kit.

What you take from the PDF
Open the spec sheet and highlight only what a shopper can verify:
- Product type in plain English (or a word you will rewrite into plain English).
- Dimensions, count, net weight, or volume as printed.
- Material and color of the unit you ship.
- Included pieces. Not “accessories etc.”
Leave unmarked: internal SKU as the lead, every synonym column, marketing adjectives, and any claim without a pack line. If the PDF says 500ml and the US pack shows 16.9 oz, write 16.9 oz first.
Translate last. Rewrite first.
A word-for-word translation keeps factory order. The kit is the other direction: start from the four facts, write a US sentence, then check the PDF so you did not invent a number. You are not making a bilingual dump. You are making one listing a US shopper can scan on a phone.
Title: product type, size or count, material. Bullets: pack contents first, then the next four facts. Description: two sentences for the buy, not a restated table.
Match the photos before you paste anything
If the PDF shows a 12-pack and the hero image is one unit, stop. Fix the image or fix the title so they name the same product. A kit rewrite that does not match the main image is a return.
Same rule for color. This child ASIN is the color in the box. Other colors are other ASINs. Do not copy the PDF’s full color matrix into this title.
Paste the rewrite, not the PDF
When the title, five bullets, and short description exist, paste that listing into free optimize. Do not paste the raw factory PDF into a public model. The free pass is 250 words, which is one ASIN. Use it to catch leftover factory tokens (12pcs, ALL CAPS, features include) and missing pack facts.
When to pay
If that one ASIN reads like a US listing and you want the same pass on more SKUs, Pro checkout is next. If the PDF was incomplete, go back to the pack. Paying does not create facts the factory never printed.
Repeat the same desk setup for the next ASIN. One PDF, one box, one listing. That is the workflow the kit is built for.
