Leftover singles are not a set

Two singles sit in a bin. Someone wants a “set of 2” child to move them. If you title it as a set and pick two at order time, the shopper gets whatever is left. The Transformation Kit is the check before you create that child: a pad from a packed set you can photograph, or the singles stay singles.

Pack the set first, then write the pad

Bag or box two matching singles the way you will ship them. Write type, size or count, material, and what is in that bag. Photo of the pad next to the packed set. If you cannot pack it today, it is not a listing. Do not create the child from a plan to “kit them at pick.”

Kit the set as its own child, leave the single alone

Title and first bullet from the set pad. Count is two. Run free optimize only if that English still reads like a single. Save the new child. Receive or bin the packed sets against that child. The leftover single listing stays on the leftover singles. Mixing them on one SKU is how the picker grabs one.

A title is not a packing instruction
