Unexpected receive: kit before you keep it
The inbound closed with extra units. The receive photo looks like last PO’s 12. The live child is this week’s 10. If you keep the unexpected receive on this FNSKU, shoppers get a mixed bin. The Transformation Kit is the check before you accept those units: pad from what FBA actually received, then keep or remove from that pad.

Read the receive, then match it to a carton you know
Write type, size or count, material, and what is in the box from the receive photo or a leftover sample from that shipment. Photo of the pad next to that carton. If the extras are a sibling child or a leftover lot, they are not this offer. Do not “reconcile later” while they sit on the live FNSKU.
Kit the correct child, then keep or remove
If the extras match this pad, title and first bullet already from that pad. Run free optimize only if that English still hedges. Save and keep. If they do not match, create or use the child that matches this pad, then ask for a relabel or removal. An unexpected receive is not free inventory for the wrong listing.
Extra units still have to be this carton
